GraphQL et Falcor, un nouveau regard sur les architectures REST ?
XebiCon 2016, in French
I'm Abdelilah Bachar, an independent consultant working through Crafters. Since 2007, I have been designing and evolving business applications, mostly in banking and fintech: legacy modernization, modular architectures, and teams I coach towards TDD, DDD and clean code. Today I bring the same rigour to building software with AI agents: written specs, automated guardrails and a review of every change.

I am the technical lead of two trade finance applications. On Konsole, I lead the gradual rewrite of a JSF / Spring Web Flow legacy system with no service interruption. Borrowing Base is a new platform in React / TypeScript, built on a hexagonal architecture. I support the team day to day through code reviews and mentoring on TDD and clean code.
Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, RabbitMQ, Keycloak, Airflow, AWS, Kubernetes. Shape Up.

I led the complete rewrite of the Financing Platform through to the decommissioning of the old one. I was the tech lead of seven teams, two in Paris and five in Bangalore, on a microservices architecture with event sourcing and CQRS. I set up feature teams and trained the teams in TDD, BDD and DDD.
Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, RabbitMQ, ForgeRock, Angular, Kubernetes. Scrum, XP.

I led the redesign of the XL Deploy user interface, the vendor's automated deployment tool, in AngularJS, using Kanban with feature toggles. I was also Scrum master of a product team, with pair programming and coding dojos.
AngularJS, Java, Spring, Hibernate, Oracle. TDD, BDD.
to
On the group's employee scheduling application, I developed using TDD and audited and optimized the code. I set up single sign-on with CAS and administered Artifactory.
Java, Spring, Hibernate, JSF, Oracle.

I worked on Xenturion, the management system for electronic payment terminals: TDD development, automated testing with Selenium, code auditing and optimization.
Java, Spring, EJB3, JPA, JSF, Oracle, JBoss.

A few contributions to the acceptance testing framework for Node.js.
A native macOS workspace built around command-line AI agents, with a file explorer, editor, Git, Postgres and browser built in. Swift 6, SwiftUI and AppKit. Built end to end by AI agents, guided by specs, rules against over-engineering and a strict CI.
A personal streaming system: a Node.js, Hono and Postgres server that imports a catalogue and enriches it through TMDB, and a native Apple TV and iPhone app in SwiftUI. Built with AI agents, kept in check by tests, typing and a review of every change.
A management app for a catering business: orders, purchases with bank import, stock and a monthly tax report. Next.js, React, Drizzle and PostgreSQL. My first project built with AI agents.
The bank account kata, in Java, on a hexagonal architecture.
Tell me about the context, the team and the need in a few lines. I'll send you my CV on request.
